16th July 2006: Birmingham

Day 2 in Birmingham, and there was time for a walk around town before heading home. It was much nicer without the pouring rain I had on the last trip, but a bit too warm for my liking! Never happy eh?!

Chicago's Sears Tower in hedge  Part of Birmingham's "Chicago -Portrait of a City" exhibition JD Sports  Latest tournament didn't go so well eh? Selfridges at the Bullring  At this point my in my wanderings my hip went and I started hobbling ... I felt like a marathon runner thinking "nope, that's me done, can't go any further" ... so bus to the airport it was ..
Monorail to Birmingham Airport  Connecting Birmingham International railway station and Airport building.  And lucky I arrived early cause the queues were massive to get through the metal detectors!!
