6th October 2008: New York

Up early today to see Sarah on Good Morning America. The show is recorded at Times Square so I applied for tickets but didn't get them. I then had to decide about going to studio and hanging about or staying in the hotel to watch her on the television. I decided gawping through the window looking stupid would look .. stupid. However I now wish I'd gone to gawp, cause I'd still have been on the telly with Sarah .. however stupid I might have looked ;)

TimesTalks: An Evening with Singer-Songwriter Sarah McLachlan Waited after the show to see if Sarah was going to come out, there was a fancy black car waiting so there was a possiblity ... and then it happened ... out she came! :) There were a few people waiting and she started at the other side. I heard a couple of the girls telling Sarah they were here from Germany, that it was great that the concert worked in with their weeks holiday in New York. Well, I thought, Jo'll have to tell her we're here specially for the show, so she did :) TimesTalks: An Evening with Singer-Songwriter Sarah McLachlan She replied with a "No way" ...told her that there was no choice since 2 trips to the UK in 20 years was wasn't really enough ;) After the CD was signed and photo taken, when Jo was saying goodbye, Sarah rubbed her arm and wished her a safe journey home ... just wow ;) TimesTalks: An Evening with Singer-Songwriter Sarah McLachlan Signed CD
