14th February 2009: Vancouver

Off to Golden Ears Winter Club, Maple Ridge to watch the 3rd v 4th place play off of the 2009 Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men's Provincials. I'll admit it, I loves a bit of curling and thought it was really interesting to watch live. Luckily having watched it quite a bit on television (and played once!) my chaperon had a vague grasp of the rules to that did help us understand most of what was going on! Next time someone remind me that it's played on ice so It'll be cold! ;o
